Facilities Management Diploma
I am very proud to say that this month I have completed and passed my facilities management diploma with flying colours! It was a great course which has given me a good knowledge of this sector. I am now ready to put my course into action and implement the ideas that it has triggered. I am hoping that I can incorporate some new processes and documents into place to make any facilities management projects that Wallers have run smoothly for both our clients and us.
New Tricks
I have also realised that you can teach an old dog new tricks! For the first time in my career, I’ve started to produce many quotes for clients which is something I haven’t done before. I am finding that I enjoy learning new skills and look forward to adding to them in the future.
Housing Association Contract
We are getting close to the end of the second year of our contract with Optivo housing association. Renewing the windows and doors for their housing stock, we are on target to complete over 250 installations of front and back doors. Additionally, we are also providing several double glazed window replacements which will improve the thermal efficiency in the houses.
It has been really great to be involved with this contract. One of the aspects that I enjoy is helping the residents to get their new front and back doors fitted for them quickly and to their choice requirements.
I’m looking forward to getting my teeth into the next year of the contract which kicks off in April.
