School Window Replacement Phase Two

This School Window Replacement Phase Two project was carried out at Wilshre Dacre Junior Academy in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Two years previously, we had installed new aluminium windows to two elevations of the school. The academy trust were extremely pleased with the results and wanted to ensure that the whole school was double glazed for the future. Although they only had the budget to have one more elevation completed, at this time, the school has now almost been completely glazed with new aluminium windows. Waller Glazing Services replaced windows in four classrooms and an office. Additionally we upgraded some high level windows in the school hall. These windows had to be accessed via the school’s flat roofs.

The school will benefit from improved thermal efficiency. The new double glazed windows will lower the heat loss in the winter and help reduce costly heating bills.
