Purchased at auction, this property and it’s great location were very important. A benefit was the building’s numerous development opportunities. Planning was approved for a change of use. Conversion of the first floor in to a one bed self contained flat was the result. We then carried out a complete refurbishment of the property. Fire and sound proofing works ensured that building control requirements were met. Additionally, a new kitchen and bathroom was installed which markedly improved the desirability.
The ground floor unit was previously a bicycle shop. Refurbishment meant a larger space which was much lighter too. The result is a new tea room. This new shop enhances Rainham High Street.
