Glazing Summer Works
Following on from my previous blog, the work load in the past few weeks has increased, which is proving a challenge.
Due to this rise in activity including the forthcoming glazing summer works, I have been working alongside Paul planning labour and materials required to help us attain the targets set. As well as this completing the job in the time scale provided from our customer which is essential. I am also learning about checking on glass stock levels once every month using a stock take sheet. This is very important so I know whether an order can be processed in our workshop and to provide a lead time.
From learning how to make invoices on SAGE, I have also been making sure that I send out the invoices on time. This is important as this allows us to have enough funds so we can pay our suppliers as we receive the payment from our customers.
