Workplace to Humand
Since working at Waller Building and Glazing Services, we have been using a human resource platform called ‘Workplace’ to communicate within our company. Unfortunately, due to ‘Workplace’ closing down, we have had to source a new platform. We are now using Humand.
When we first transferred to Humand I was worried about how different things would look and how easy it would be to use. I use this platform regularly to update wok colleagues with deliveries to site, weekly healthy workplace updates and healthy eating suggestions.
To my surprise, and relief, Humand is hardly different at all.
What’s In The Box?
We still have the same groups which allows us an insight to projects that our contract managers are working on, company announcements, company social events, general space to celebrate working achievements and much more. All of our information on Workplace was migrated over to the new system by the clever boffins at Humand.
The platform has a ‘Quick link’ section where you can get be directed to our websites of interested such as our IT support provider and our Charity of the year.
The ‘Magazine’ section of Humand is where articles that can be accessed easily are found. The types of articles include our MND quiz night poster, ‘Blogs’ etc.
We also have a Market Place, where we can put items up for sale or give away to a good home. No! no work colleagues have been put on here…yet!
All in all, the move to Humand was slick and worry free.

Building Services We Provide In Schools
The building services we provide include smaller refurbishments through to extensions and new builds. The services we provide include anything that a school would require. This includes, toilet and kitchen refurbishments. We also install fencing, flooring and carry out complete new builds. Glazing Services We Provide In Schools
In addition to building works, we also carry out works from window and hinge repairs through to complete aluminium and uPVC window and door installations.
