Wigmore Library Refurbishments
Works are moving at a fast pace and are on schedule to be completed by the end of the month. The Wigmore Library refurbishments will give the building a new lease of life and provide a more modern feel.
Aluminium Windows
New aluminium windows have been installed which will improve the building’s thermal efficiency and lower future heating costs. A new automatic opening door is being added which will provide more internal space. We have also installed a new glass screen which will allow additional light.
Electrical Upgrade
The buildings electrics are being upgraded which includes energy saving LED lighting throughout. The new lighting will also provide a lighter, brighter atmosphere for the library users.
Decoration
We have created a new office at one end of the building as well as updating the kitchen and toilet facilities. The whole of the library is also being decorated which, along with the additional new features, will transform the library and provide the effect of a new building.
