Wallers Construct New School Building
We have been awarded the works to construct a new school building at Riverview Junior School in Gravesend. Works start on 14th of February with a 16 week programme of works.
The traditional single storey construction has three elevations, two skins of blockwork with a larch weatherboard cladding and one elevation of face brickwork. The floor is a concrete block and beam with screed design and the roof will be a flat timber deck with single ply membrane finish. All external windows and doors are uPVC double glazing with safety glass. Internally the building will contain a new classroom with a kitchenette, a W.C. and sensory room. In addition an eco friendly “windcatcher” ventilation system will be installed which will regulate air quality.
We look forward to working with the school and providing a new learning space with modern amenities that both students and staff can enjoy in the future.
