New Science Block Project
The existing building, at Fulston Manor School in Sittingbourne, contains two classrooms, a prep room and a greenhouse which is to be demolished as part of this new science block project.
The new building will be a single storey, four classroom block comprising of three science rooms, one classroom, an intervention room, store room, plant room and communal space.
The proposed construction is to use traditional strip footings, a ground bearing slab, masonry cavity walls and a trussed roof. The external works will include paths to access the building, a fire escape path from the rear and, in addition, landscaping in surrounding areas will make the area good.
