Sixth Form Common Room Refurbishment

A local grammar school asked us to carry out refurbishment works to their sixth form common room. Borden Grammar wanted to transform the common room into a more contemporary and modern area for their students to use. The works included installing a new suspended ceiling which revamps the room and will help to lower future heating costs. We also decorated the room throughout, laid new flooring and installed new, brighter LED lighting.

New Internal Window

Part of works involved cutting out a space in an internal wall for the installation of a new window. The new window allows more light into the common room giving it a brighter feel. The glass had to be fire rated to meet building control regulations.

Furniture

To complete the look, the school asked us to provide soft furniture to create a comfortable area for the students to sit. Additionally, we installed booth areas for dinning.

The school are very pleased with the finnish and we hope the students enjoy the new space.
