Sittingbourne School Humanities Block Refurbishment

This Sittingbourne school humanities block refurbishment project entailed refurbishing a complete block of classrooms. Dated from the 1950’s, The Swale Academies Trust required a more contemporary facility for the school to use. The works involved the removal of asbestos flooring, the stripping out of all existing ceilings and internal doors.  New wall linings were added as well as new upgraded internal doors, suspended ceilings and carpets being fitted. Additionally, complete internal redecoration provided the finishing touches and completed the refurbishment project.

New Windows, Doors and Cladding

Externally, new composite cladding, aluminium windows and doors were installed. The new windows will improve the thermal efficiency of the building which lower the school’s heating costs.

The completed project meant  a new looking building and the trust are extremely happy with the results. They have asked us to look at an additional block that they would like to refurbished.
