School Courtyard Improvements

We were asked to carry out these school courtyard improvements by Wilshere Dacre Junior Academy. The school were looking to utilise an area that had become disused and overgrown. The aim of the school’s business manager was to clear the space and create a quiet and safe area for school gatherings. The courtyard was the perfect place for such an area within the heart of the school which had previously seen refurbishment works.

The courtyard was completely stripped out and everything was removed from site. The next step was to make sure the ground was level. We then added a raised decking area and artificial grass which completely improved the whole area. The school are now left with a clear, minimalist area that needs very little maintenance. The courtyard is a great sun trap and will provide a space to hold school get together’s.

Windows

Waller Glazing Services replaced the windows within the school courtyard for a previous project. The existing single glazed, wooden windows were removed and replaced with aluminium, double glazed windows.
