School Privacy Window Film Application

We were asked to carry out this school privacy window film application project by a school that is surrounded by multi level apartment blocks. The surrounding area had seen the construction of the multi level apartemnt block on the site of an old hospital.  Unfortunately, classrooms at the front of the school, were overlooked by the apartments. The school needed a solution to provide improved privacy for pupils.

Solution

The most cost effective solution was to apply solar film to the existing windows rather than install new tinted windows. The film provides a subtle mirror effect that means that the inside of classrooms cannot be seen from outside. An additional advantage of the film is the reflection of the sun during summer months that means a reduction of glare and over heating. In addition, there were also areas of the school that we applied sandblast effect film. Extra privacy is provided which means that the outside is not seen from a classroom. This aids concentration. This film still allows light into internal areas. The school were very happy with the cheaper option of providing privacy to the school.
