School Perimeter Fencing Installation

This school perimeter fencing installation was awarded to us after Kite academy trust had been successful in securing a government CIF bid. We had previously carried out a site survey and provided a quotation for the academy trust and they appointed us as their preferred contractor. The school needed to replace the existing fencing around the complete perimeter of the school grounds to improve security and safeguarding. In areas of the school, the fencing had either failed or was not sufficient in securing the school.

We installed various types of fencing, sympathetic to the rural setting of the school. Three types of fencing were used, screen weldmesh, weldmesh and double bowtop were all installed in various situations around the school. In addition, three vehicle and three pedestrian gates were also installed with two being automated with remote access control. Additionally, we installed  three vehicle and three pedestrian gates with two of the gates featuring remote access control.

Ground Clearance

To start the project, we cleared all trees and shrubbery to leave a clear line for the new fencing. This was achieved by using heavy machinery which temporarily damaged some of the school field. This was due to the time of year and the ground being soft. We anticipated that this could happen and with this in mind, we ensured that we restored the ground to it’s original condition at the end of the project .

The final result was a secure school which blended into the rural area and upgrade the safeguarding of the pupils.
