Men's Toilet Refurbishment

Waller Building Services were asked to complete this school staff toilet refurbishment project during the February half term. The toilets were dated and in need of modernising. The refurbishment entailed forming a new configuration as well as new anti-slip flooring and cubicle system. We also added a new vanity unit, sanitary ware and Whiterock cladding, which acts as a splash back for new hand dryer. Additionally, LED lighting enhanced the improvements with a modern look. The final touches were added with decoration throughout with acrylic eggshell paint to provide a fresh clean finish.

Staff Room Dividing Wall

Waller Building Services divided the schools large staff room into a good sized staff room and a smaller room to use as an intervention room. We constructed a sound proof fire rated partition that was plastered and included a new door and ironmongery. The rooms were decorated throughout leaving everything clean and tidy for the return to school. Due to the tight time frame of one week the project called for working through the weekend to achieve the schools requirements and free up a full sized classroom elsewhere in the school.

Academy Window Installation

Waller Glazing Services is pleased to announce that we have been awarded this academy window installation project. We were awarded the aluminium window installation through a closed tender process. Sprites Primary Academy in Ipswich, Suffolk, require their current windows to be replaced in the hall and several classrooms. As well as new windows we are installing new steels due to the existing supports having failed over time and risk that the roof could be damaged if the supports are not replaced. We look forward to starting this project soon and working with the Academy.

Fire Door and Side Screen

This school required a new door together with side screen to infill and existing opening between two offices. The works required installing a new sub-frame complete with bespoke side screen, the door and screen needed to be fire compliant and match existing door within the office. The works were carried out over two days that were convenient with the school to cause as little disruption as possible. The school are very happy with the finished result.
