Academy Window Installation Completed
The Tymberwood Academy Window Installation completed by Waller Glazing Services in just 12 weeks.
Initially we removed the Crittall windows that needed replacing. We followed this by installing an aluminium double glazed system. Solar controlled glass was applied which reflects away a large degree of the sun’s heat during the summer. A result of this is a vastly improved working environment. A digital entry system was also installed increasing the security of the school. As well as this, blue metallic infill panels were fitted which enhanced the aesthetics of the building. Next, we installed fly mesh to the kitchen windows. This allows the windows to be opened without any unwanted insects entering the area. An important and vital part of food hygiene. Finally Teleflex window winders were fitted to the high level windows. This means opening is easily accessible encouraging increased ventilation. Even with the works going ahead during term time, minimal disruption was caused.
