Listed Property Garage Conversion

We were asked to carry out a listed property garage conversion. The main brief was to form additional living space which involved converting the garage. The works involved breaking out the existing floor slabs and forming a new solid concrete floor. Additionally, we converted the garage door into a window. A new door between the garage and main house was also formed.  To satisfy the building regulations and the council’s conservation officer, all of the external walls had to be fully insulated and lined with plasterboard. As well as this the new window had to be made to match the existing house. The client was extremely pleased with the results. In fact, he has asked us to carry out future works.
